Matthew is so used to the nebulizer being in his face that he often grabs the hose and treats himself.

He is so good. It just breaks my heart to watch him in any kind of pain or discomfort. He definitely knows the schedule and figures he might as well help. What a darling baby boy he is.

I love you. Grandma Sue

I have to give you some credit Matthew.. Your giving yourself that aerosol better then some therapist I worked with in the past.... We may be calling you when we are short staffed. Ok, you caught me. We just want you to visit because your parents are always right behind and they always have chocolate.....Carry on......

Matthew is a "can do" kind of guy. This probably felt pretty darn good with that terrible congestion in his chest. Matthew has been pretty uncomfortable and is very restless and fretful during his sleep. Yesterday, Matthew rolled over toward me and we cuddled together for a long time. He loves to have his little back and head rubbed. I put my arms around him and he slowly went to sleep. Every now and then he would open those baby blue eyes to make sure I was still there. Matthew is such a love. His big brother Casey visited him and you could see the warm interaction between the brothers. Auntie Kim spent her lunch hour with Matthew so Matthew had a real "almost at home" environment. Dr. Mayman visited our little Hero and did an Echocardiogram to make sure everything around his heart looked OK. Get well my little Hero. We love you so much. grandma w
