While not crying as much or exhibiting behavior like he's in pain, Matthew is still not quite himself. He isn't sleeping well nor is he smiling as much as before. We are hoping that the old Matthew returns soon.

He's been through so much that he's probably waiting to make sure that he really is going to be at home and having fun. Then the smiles will return. I just hope he feels better and better each day.

I love you so much. Grandma Sue

The old Matthew is there. He just had a very stressful last week and was so sick. With all the medications he is currently on I cannot help but think one or several of them keep him Hyped all the time. Matthew looks to his mommy and daddy still for his safety zone; but I think he knows that he is home. He even found comfort while I was there. He knows I am a softy when he gets "that look". He lets me feed him and has decided that even though I have been present through the gory stuff, I am on the comforting end of his ordeal.I want to "keep" it that way too! Go sleepy, sleepy sweet baby! Mommy and daddy need some sleep to get well. grandma w

Hang in there Terri and Mike. I wish I could come over there and help, but I have had the flue too. Hope Mathew is feeling better soon.

I am glad that you have such good family support to help you. Matthew looks much better now that he is home. He has been through so much, he is an inspiration to us all! Three cheers to Matthew and a speedy recovery!
