One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Thank you for posting this newest pic. It is so nice to come here and see Matthew is feeling better. I hope Mommy & Daddy have gotten a little more rest and are feeling better too. Although I have never posted, my thoughts & prayers have been with the King Trio, and they will of course continue to be. Take care!

This is so wonderful to see his smiling face and that sparkle in his beautiful eyes once again. He has been through so much and just deserves to be happy and have fun.
I can hardly wait until I see him again. Of course I can't wait to see Michael & Terri also.
I love you all so much. Mom (Grandma Sue)
P.S. Thanks Jennifer for posting your comments. You have been a loyal Matthew fan since day 1.
