One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

I love pictures of my favorite fellas. Both my good looking grandsons together makes me very proud.
Daniel helped his Uncle Michael plant about 160 small trees. Michael is quite the Johnny Appleseed planting maple trees, quaking aspen and the likes. Their Beaver Utah property is "already" beautiful, but can you just image it with a variety of trees including the pines. Every Spring now for some time, Michael has added new trees. He has to barricade the small new trees with fencing to keep the deer from treating themselves to their anticipated "wooded" future homesite.
Daniel is almost 12 years old and a lot of help to both his aunts and uncles. He's a fine young man and a terrific mentor for Matthew.
Love you boys, grandma wright
I love having older helpers with the kids! Looks like you had a fun trip.
How very cool. Looks like they adore each other!!!
The one thing about working so hard to plant all those trees is that you will be able to enjoy them for so many years. It adds beauty and shade to your wonderful place. It is so great seeing the kids have fun also. Thanks for all the great pictures.
Love, Grandma Sue
What a great help! He seems like such a great kid!
