One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Quixa is not going to be outdone by her "little master". What is good for Matthew is good for her.....so the story appears to go.
Can you feel the love in this picture? Matthew looks a little put out; but after all this is family and family must share with each other. Sharing is a good lesson to learn! Love you three exercise buffs! grandma wright
haha!! What a lap dog. So cute.
Quixa is a DADDY'S GIRL...
no doubt about it!
She panics when he goes outside w/o her... she will run back and forth from door to door until I let her out or Mike comes and saves her.
I love how loyal dogs are. Such tender hearts that long to be with their master.
