One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Yes, it was "the Brian" who said the "Story of the Turtle"...
he has a little one .. so he KNOWS!
Okay.. I screwed that all up...
is was "the Brian" OF the SotT
who said that....
Matthew is intrigued by all the characters in the Baby Einstein series. Walt Disney surely knows how to capture the hearts and the "minds" of these little ones.
Matthew loves to have someone watch them with him. He gets so excited and appears to understand what they are doing. I have never observed a child stay so focused and attentive for so long. The music is very soothing to everyone within ear shot.
Baby Einstein certainly captures the "child within" me and it feels good!!!! ha ha
Love you my sweet little grandson, grandma wright
The Baby Einstein DVD's I have seen so far are so wonderful. I can see why Matthew is so interested in them. The music is very soothing and the characters are so interesting. Grandma Wright got him the whole series and I think he will have many years of enjoyment. Plus he is learning so much.
It is so great to see him having fun and learning so much.
I love you Matthew. Grandma Sue
Liam gets in the daze too with all his baby einstein DVDs. that quote "crack for babies" made me laugh... what a good way of putting it!!! I used to wonder if it WAS good for him because NOTHING else puts him in that state of AWE!
Hee hee...
I got a kick out of the "baby crack" statement myself!!
