One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

I have already said that Matthew is a purpose driven little guy. He loves music and is learning quickly how to obtain exactly what he wants, when he wants it.
The entertainment center has been baracaded to keep little fingers off the dials; but that doesn't stop our little hero. No siree'. Matthew finds his way in and heads straight for the dials. It's a good thing he doesn't like robbing banks.
I can just picture Matthew doing his body weaving dance. Daddy said he had one arm in the air and was really going at it big time.
All you have to do is "do it once" and he will mimic you. The other day he was looking into the mirrored wardrobe. He had the typical policeman's stance with legs spread apart and he was flipping his hair. I asked Terri what he was doing and she laughed and said he was mimicing her fluffing up her hair in the mirror. Ha Ha We just cracked up!!!! Love you sweet baby, grandma wright
What a smart little darling he is. I love the look towards Mommy & Daddy while his little busy fingers are turning the channels. You really can get too upset with him because when he gets the right music on and starts dancing, you start laughing and forget your movie.
I love all the videos and love what you are doing with the Blog.
I love you all. Grandma Sue
That cracks me up! What a hoot he is!
Liam has the exact same porta-crib!
