Grandma's Visit

When the doorbell rings it is usually Grandma Wright coming over for a visit. Matthew gets so excited! He makes several gleeful little squeaks as she walks through the door. After that, it's down to the business of play.

If Matthew is as attentive in school as he is during playtime, this is going to be one smart lil dude.......

Matthew knows that I am dedicated to "him" when I arrive. I sit on the floor with him and he gets to pick the toys and books. We just enjoy each other's company "period". When Matthew's other grandma visits, she does the same thing. We enjoy Baby Einstein as much as he does. Matthew has certain toys that he will give you to hold and "boy, you better not put it down"...... I learned that the hard way. He scolded me the last time he gave the same toy to me to hold, and I will tell you, it was like "gluded" to my hands until I was ready to leave. He was not pleased with me because I kept setting it down. Today he handed me a plastic jar and wanted me to unscrew the lid that had been tightened. I, not thinking, loosened it and put it back on. "WRONG"...... He let me know the lid was to remain off so he could put it back on. Be patient with me, Matthew. Grandma is learning....... ha ha.

What a wonderful playmate you are Janet. He looks at you so lovingly and is so happy to have your full attention. Your heart must melt when he gives you that sweet smile.

I can't wait to see him again and read and play with his toys. I love the pictures on the Blog. We all get to share in his life.

Hope to see you all soon.

Love, Grandma Sue
