Matthew is in hospital

He's been sick for over two weeks now... terrible coughing and breathing problems ...

he's been on 3 different antibiotics and and he's on his second batch of steroids. Just can't seem to kick it.

Took him to see his pediatrician this morning (Dr. Tenby asked me to bring him in while I was taking Jayden to doctor yesterday).

Dr. Tenby scared the crap out of me.... he seemed so worried and concerned.

He's a sick little boy. Glad he's in hospital and getting the care he needs. He's on an IV drip w/ steroids.

Please keep him in your prayers.

It was so wonderful spending Matthew's 4th birthday in Beaver. I loved my walks with Matthew and the fun birthday party. Matthew was pouring bubbles out of the bottle onto the table so all the kids could share. It was bubbles everywhere! When all the bubbles were gone, Matthew said "Bye,Bye Bubbles". He wasn't feeling very well but ran and played and had a fun birthday. It was so hard seeing him so sick the last 2 days I was there. I felt terrible coming home. Michael & Terri are amazing and have been able to do all his treatments at home, but I think this virus needed some extra help.

Get well my darling Matthew. Grandma Sue loves you so much.

This whole ordeal is sort of a way God had of telling daddy that "now is not the time" to bring sick little foster babies into Matthew's life. This surely has taken a hard toll on Matthew's immune system, heart and lungs. Children need to be quarantined for 2-weeks prior to being brought into Matthew's life. Matthew is the victim here. This is one "Ah Shit" that wiped away all the "atta boys" involved with fostering children. Now is just not the time!!!!!!! As Matthew's grandma, these are my feelings.
