This is how the poor little guy has looked for a couple of days. The steroids that help the inflamation in his lungs make him just miserable. He hasn't slept in a couple of days.

One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

OH NO... I thought you had been too quiet!
I am sooooo sorry your wee darling is not well... I am hoping with everything in me that he gets better soon.
All my love.
Oh no, I'm so sad to hear this! We will send up prayers for the little man immediately. Get better, Matthew!! xo
This is a very sad picture, but I know he will be smiling soon. He is so adorable it must be awful for him to be sick. He just wants to play and have fun.
I love you so much Matthew. Get well soon.
Love, Grandma Sue
Seeing Matthew so miserable is heartbreaking. I think he will probably go home in a few days still on oxygen. His Respiratory Doctor was there three times yesterday to see him. We are so happy with all the nurses, doctors, respiratory therapist and staff. Summerlin is wonderful. I give it five stars.
