Nothing like a little "Cat in the Hat" to help keep Matthew calm and his attention diverted. He LOVES books. I must say, Daddy, does a very good job reading. He can make the tax code sound exciting and interesting. :)
One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Pray that Matthew is doing better
Well I love this picture because he gets special time with his Daddy, even if it is in the hospital. Reading time is always special, even with you are sick.
Get well soon Matthew. I love you so much.
Take care Michael & Terri. I know you have been through so much.
Grandma Sue
Terri just called and she has come down with something similar to what Matthew has. Her chest is heavy and she is very hoarse. She has lost so much sleep taking care of our little Magoo for 3 wks.
I hope Michael changes his mind about letting the foster child back into the home when Matthew is released. The foster child is now sick with "something else" and running a 102 fever. Help, somebody!!!!!!!! When it rains, it pours.
