Early morning pre-op

Yesterday we arrived at the hospital for Matthew's endoscopy at 6:30am. We met with the doctors, got Matthew dressed in his undignified pink gown, and then checked his vitals before he went into the operating room.

It's hard to look at the pictures and see the apprehension in his eyes and on his face. But yet, there is a smile for everyone as if to make it better for us. Our little braveheart takes on another challenge and passes with flying colors. I'm happy to hear the test went well and just hope that they will be able to give him whatever he needs to stop the retching and be able to eat.

I know how proud Michael & Terri are of their sweet little boy and just having you both with him from beginning to end makes all the difference to him.

Run Matthew Run and Laugh Matthew Laugh. That's what we want to see.
You have been through so much but you still have your wonderful disposition and joy for life.

I love you so much. Grandma Sue

And a "handsome" boy at that in pink. Matthew is the bravest of brave. This procedure right on the heels of the others and yet look at how good natured his is. As long as his mommy and daddy are there with him. Matthew knows no harm will come to him.

No wonder all the doctors and nurses love him so much. Matthew is a "joy" and a delight to be around. I know I'm addicted to him. Ha ha Love you sweet baby, grandma wright

Glad the endoscopy went well. I hope the new medicine works. Matthew looks so big! What a great smile he has! And I just love the pictures of him asleep behind the wheel!
