To Nancy (and those who are wondering): I bought the plans for Matthew's crib from a woodworking catalog and made it completely from scratch. Terri snapped this picture of me at the lumber yard.

Very cool Mike! Your work looks very professional. Do you have your own workshop or do you do your woodworking in the garage? Last year we were finally able to build a workshop for Karl so he can "play in the sawdust" and not have to pull his tools out onto the carport. I'll have to post some pictures of some of his work on my blog. Oh, I forgot to mention that I have done decorative painting on some of the furniture that Karl has built and he also cuts out all my wood for my projects. Our next major project: enclose the carport and turn it into a craftroom for me! :-D

Michael's work is very impressive. He has built bookcases for my large movie library that encumbases two full walls, floor to ceiling. They are awesome. It is my favorite room in the house.

Yes, Michael magically turned these pieces of wood into the crib you just viewed. At my age, all he would have had to do was put them "under" my mattress. Ha Ha. You get easier to please as you get older.

Michael, in his spare time, has built entertainment centers, large and small. I have "yet" to find anything that he can't do....... well, maybe keeping the mice from eating his car wires "for now"; but I can assure you, Mike will find "the perfect solution" to this problem. It won't be relying on their 19 year old cat, Petie, either. Ha Ha

I'm anxious to see the new bird perch he has masterminded for Amee. She wants to watch those Disney movies too!!!!! Love ya fella, grandma wright

Wow! I wish I could read what you said. My computer doesn't show half of what was written. Weird, but awesome work!
