After a morning of football it was time to head to the Strip to help keep the New Year's revelry peaceful. So Mommy took our annual picture of me in uniform. Quite a difference from last year's picture...

Well you look the same. Terri's ageless beauty is rubbing off for sure! Now, as for Matthew, that's a difference. He's sitting on your arm like a big boy and he will someday let you know how proud he is of his Dad.

God bless both of you forever.

Love, Mom (Grandma Sue)

This is am amazing picture. Michael does, indeed, look the same. I think Matthew has so filled him with "loving thoughts" that his happiness has retarded the ageing process, or do you think it is the Mary Kay Men's products... Look at what it has done for Terri. Ha Ha

Matthew is another story. Unless you compare this picture to another picture, you would never believe the growth or maturity. Matthew is a little boy now and full of discovery. Everything is new and exciting to him. Mommy and daddy let him roam, under supervision, and investigate. He loves to touch "everything" and anything now.

It is going to be fun watching this father and son team each New Years Eve as Matthew grows as tall as his dad. We have the privilege of seeing the Miracle of Matthew continue to grow with each Blog. Life is good! Love my boys..... grandma w

Those are great pictures. I would have thought that the LV police would have blue uniforms like most city police departments. Karl worked for our county sheriff's department and then went to the AZ state Highway Patrol and both of those departments have tan uniforms. Now Karl is a Commercial Vehicle Inspector and is in a spiffy black uniform and drives a police truck. He has always had a take-home police vehicle and it's fun for the kids to show it off to their friends. ;-)

It will be fun for you, especially Michael, when Matthew is old enough to brag to all his friends that his daddy is a policeman. My kids have loved it when Karl has been asked to speak at scouting and school events as an officer about staying away from gangs, safety issues, etc. Jessica loves to brag that her daddy is an officer.

Our husbands have difficult jobs to do and are so amazing because they do their jobs so well AND then come home and are the wonderful husbands & fathers that they are.
