One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

I have to admit, "Matthew has taken after his energetic mom" when it comes to his sleeping habits. (snicker, snicker) Terri never wanted to go to bed and made short work of it when she did.
Matthew is just a busy little boy with lots to see and do now that he is up and around. I do believe that once he konks out, he is down for the count. This allows mommy to hook him up to his overnight feeding machine. That is another story in itself.
You have to admit, though, Matthew does look pretty darn cute standing up while sound asleep. I've seen people do that at work only they kept their eyes "open". Ha Ha
Love you sweet little boy! grandma wright
Honestly, that is the cutest thing I've ever seen. I can't stop looking at his cuteness, sleeping on the edge of his crib.
That is so cute!!! I can't believe he falls asleep standing up!!!
That's a classic. Connor has fallen asleep with things in his hands while sitting but never standing up. Priceless!
The Special Zipper
This is so cute. I love the background set up with the drive-in movie. I would pay good money to see that cute boy on the big screen. He doesn't want to miss anything but he just wears himself out and falls asleep. It's so hard to hear him cry but I know if you keep getting him up, he'll know he won the battle.
The pictures are darling.
Love, Grandma Sue
Wow, that is awesome you got that on camera! What a cute little fighter. Makes you wish there were padding on that beautiful woodwork.
