Matthew received his monthly Synagis shots today. His nurse practitioner, Ryan, didn't want Matthew to associate him with ouchy shots. So he covered his face with a mask and drew a smiley face on the front. As you can plainly see, Matthew wasn't impressed.

No... Matthew does not look at all happy!

Terri tells me that Matthew took his first few steps yesterday. Soon Matthew will be running from the needles!!!

Guess "who" they put on the "front end" of this situation to "hold Matthew's hands????..... Grandma Wright, of course!!!

Mommy and Ryan hid behind me so Matthew now associates me with sticks and pricks. The "pricks" were behind me. Ha Ha Ha Matthew didn't seem to hold it against me and still wanted to come to me afterwards. He only stuck his finger up my nose and smeared my glasses for revenge. LOL I was so blessed that he closed his eyes the moment the first of 3 painful shots hit his thighs. Matthew knew Ryan was up to something when he appeared in cognito. Pretty smart calculation on Matthew's part.

It brought tears to grandma's eyes too, little "Goo-Man". It hurt grandma's heart to see you in pain again. Better the shots now to avoid "all" the shots if you get sick. Love you sweet baby! grandma w
