Today the doctors told us that Matthew may come home next weekend. The three of us have been �institutionalized� for so long that it is hard to imagine our lives uninterrupted by daily hospital visits. Matthew is on a cornucopia of medications which are delivered orally, intravenously, and through a breathing treatment. Terri and I had hoped that he would be weaned off most of these drugs before his homecoming. With that being said, the thought of Matthew being home is intoxicating.
