While I was up in Beaver last weekend we picked up DQ ice cream for the kids. Terri kept giving Matthew little bites of the soft swirl and he really liked it!! He'd smile at her and say, "want some more?"
One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Yes, he sure did.
It was so cute...
he must have said "want some more" about fifteen times...
each time he would take a little bite of ice cream. But I had to make sure the spoon was upside down.
There was no waste of ice cream, I was sure to polish it off!!
Those taste buds are awakening. Eating in from of him is the best teacher. It won't be long and he will have his own cone.
Love That Boy , may God Bless the King Family
That is awesome! yum yum to ice cream!
