One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Matthew is the sweetest little boy; but he has proved he is not made of sugar. These pictures verify that!
A trip to the water park made for a fun evening for all. Matthew loves water puddles and here he gets his fill of small ones and large ones. Whoopie!
Matthew has shown that he is no clinging vine when it comes to adventure. I loved the one where he is laughing at his mommy getting wet too.
As hot as it has been here in Las Vegas, you dry off fast after a good dousing. Daddy had his turn to run through the sprays as well with Magoo in tow.
I love this little "squirt" and his fearless spirit. grandma wright
That must feel wonderful in the hot Las Vegas sun. He definitely likes puddles. He and Mommy both look like they are having fun. He is so photogenic and the pictures are all great. He is here in California now and I'm enjoying ever second I can spend with him. He is so much fun and so good.
I love you Matthew. Grandma Sue
Matthew is looking good
Thanks for posting. Matthew is such an inspiration. We pray for Matthew The Miracle Boy. Have a fine Saturday at the SF BAY AREA!
