One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Hey, there are "super powers" in those jammees! Super-Goo thinks he can leap short gates in a single bound, escape bedtime when the lights go out and fly down the hall with the greatest of speed........ But he still has to make a pit stop for his sippy cup.
You can just feel the enthusiam running through this little body. I must say, he certainly looks like a big boy and has proven to all of us, he IS "SuperMagoo". Superman has definitely returned. That cape just cracked me up!! Love ya as always! grandma wright
That is so cute - Go Supermagoo - escape bedtime.
Oh my gosh, these are the cutest pajamas I have seen and are just perfect for our little super hero. He seems to know that he has a special suit on that gives him power to run, jump and fly. I can just hear him squealing as he runs down the hall.
Oh, one thing Lori and I both heard him say while he was here was "happy". I'm sure you have all heard it, but I had not. When he said it at Johnny's house, he had a big smile on his face. It truly makes you melt. It won't be long before he'll be telling us all stories. Won't it be interesting to finally know what he is thinking? Can't wait.
Love to all. Grandma Sue
