One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

I call these pictures "precious moments". Matthew loves his books and being able to sit down like this gave him a different prospective on reading.
Perhaps it's time to clear out "a room" just for Matthew's enjoyment. Yes, even a kitchen set will enable our little hero to enter into the "pretend" world. Where did our little baby go? Why he has grown and reached another level of wonderment called......childhood. Love you my precious grandson! grandma wright
I love these pictures. Ali had some new and interesting things for Matthew to enjoy. He was pushing a shopping cart around and taking pots and pans off her stove and to see him actually sitting at the darling table she had is so cute. He is just adorable and I loved every minute I got to spend with him. And, Grandma Wright says it all when she says "where did our baby go." Each new stage we see him going through is exciting and wonderful. He truly is a very sweet, precious child.
I love you Matthew. Grandma King
Such sweet photos. :)
