Grandma Sue's Visit

My mother flew in from California for Matthew's birthday party. She spent about a day visiting with Terri and me before hinting that we should feel free to leave the house while she got her Matthew fix. Grandparents are too funny.

Grandma Sue fit right into Matthew's schedule and heart.

Children must automatically know their grandmothers. At least Matthew did Grandma Sue. You would never have know there had been any time or distance between them.

Grandma Sue was a wonderful addition that completed the birthday family celebration

Grandma wright enjoyed her 5 day visit as well. We certainly do share a common love and interest.

WOW! I cannot BELIEVE all that you have been through. I was searching for information on Dr. Hanley because our little man need to have surgery for his TOF/PA/MAPCAs next Friday and your blog came up. I just got done reading through your entire journey and once again...WOW! Lots of trials and joys for you guys. My husband and I have already been on a little journey of our own, and we have a long way yet to go. You can take a look at our blog, if you'd like: http://babyporta.blogspot.com/

We are strong believers in the power of prayer and miracles, so we will most definitely add your family to our prayers. If you wouldn't mind, say a prayer for our little Elijah, who will have his first surgery here in Minneapolis next Friday, May 25th. We are very hopeful, but very nervous, too.

It looks to me like God put Matthew into the perfect home to be cared as best as he possibly can be! From your blog, you seem to be amazing, loving parents. We will bookmark your page and check back on Matthew's progress. He seems to be a happy kid and that is very important!

God Bless you all!
Megan (& Dan & Elijah) :)

I loved every second of being with Matthew for 5 whole days. I miss him so much I can't wait to return. He is so delightful and funny and a joy to be with. I had a great time and got to share babysitting duties with Grandma Wright. We had so much fun running after Matthew. It brought back so many memories of all the fun I had with his Daddy when he was growing up. I hope to be able to share all the fun things with Matthew, Michael & Terri and all the family.

I love you all so much.
