Matthew's Quilt Block

Nancy McCain, the grandmother of 10 year old Samantha (she has a half of a heart HLHS), is a member of a group of ladies making a quilt for the Congenital Heart Defect awareness quilt project. She sent us this picture of Matthew's block. We can't wait for the picture of the completed quilt.

Matthew's room is decorated in the Noah's Ark theme.....and when my sisters had my baby shower ... it was in Noah's Ark...

We were thrilled to see this quilt block for Matthew.

What a great quiltblock! It turned out really nice. Do you know what quilt # it will be on? Jessica's is on #18.

That is gorgeous! I love it - I am excited to see what Jacob's looks like someday, :) I think the quilt idea was such a neat one. :)

What an absolutely beautiful quilt. I love Matthew's block - looks just like his room. It is so wonderful to see our little Braveheart included on this very special quilt for such a great organization. This is truly a gift of love from those making this quilt.

Thank you from Matthew's Grandma Sue.

The Noah's Ark theme truly represents the "story of Matthew's life". God took "so few" of his prized "good" creatures and humans to replenish the earth after the flood. He "chose" Noah and his family because "they were special in the eyes of God". So too, are Michael, Terri and Matthew "special" in God's Eyes. It was no mistake that God gave us Matthew and Blessed him with precious life.

It became so apparent when I looked at this beautiful quilt. This quilt shows God's love for the King Trio. How beautiful!

A quilt is a wonderful representative of how all our lives are sewn together to make a complete whole of God's special loved ones. Thank you to all those who made this quilt for Matthew. God Bless You! grandma wright a.k.a. uma
