One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

ok that is really cool! Seat belts are good, now you can pull him fast and wont have to worry about him jumping ship:) ok thats my coffee talking:)
oh look at that!! He looks so happy.
I want one!
Radio Flyers have been a part of children's fantacies since "I" was little. Yes, I was young once......(smile) This one really impressed me for Matthew because it has 2 seats with leg wells for comfort. The backs fold down so it can be used for hauling the dog. Where's Quixa????? hee hee
Happiness for me is seeing Matthew smile, happy and having fun. He is just a typical little boy who loves playing with cars, watching Baby Einstein and hugging his puppy dog. Life is good! Love that sweet little boy!!! grandma wright a.k.a uma
The smile on Matthew's face says it all - he loves his new red wagon as so many others have over the years. A Radio Flyer is a very special thing and with the added new features of back seat, seat belts and cup holders, he will be able to bring all his friends along for the ride.
I think this picture would be the greatest thank you of all for his "Uma".
I hope I'll be able to take him for ride in his new red wagon when I get there in a couple of weeks. I can't wait.
Love, Grandma Sue
we are hoping his apt today goes well , you are in our thoughts and prayers.
That is so cool! Liam would love one of those... he is outgrowing the stroller, so maybe soon!
