One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

AS I REPEAT MYSELF THAT YOUNG MAN DOES NOT TAKE A BAD PICTURE
Well he wore himself out building the cabin. That country air will do it all the time. He is just so cute. I've got the picture in my mind of him chasing Grandma Wright around with his eyes closed. I bet they were both laughing.
Can't wait to see him.
Love, Grandma Sue
What a lovebug! I love the sleep pics. I wish I could sleep like that! I hope you guys had a good time in Beaver!!
Matthew is perpetual motion from the moment he wakes up until after 8 at night. He is the busiest little guy I have ever seen.
Check out that little leg while reading in the car seat!! Matthew loves books. He loves to talk now and spent hours playing with Miss Moose. When we were about to leave to go home, Matthew said "bye-bye Dramma".
The weather was not ideal in Beaver; but that didn't bother Matthew. He didn't mind one bit being couped up in the RV all day. The RV is his play house and he knows it. Life revolves around out little Magoo.
Love this little busy bee! grandma wright
