One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Thanks Terri for posting these pictures. It certainly is a complete change from the ones on Wednesday. It is so amazing how quickly children do get better once they get the antibiotics. I hope he keeps improving each day.
It's wonderful to see him playing with all the kids and that dog looks like he/she is having fun also.
Talk to you soon.
Love, Grandma Sue
That trampoline is ideal for kids. No fear of anyone falling off. The dog looks like he is waiting for "someone" to start jumping up and down. Matthew looks like he is having a fun time too. For a child who spends little time with other children, Magoo plays really well with other kids. He certainly is all boy.
ha ha, that yellow lab doesn't look so happy to be on there!
