One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Matthew just loves the outdoors. He goes for the stroller the minute I arrive. He now like to push the stroller; however, he cannot see over the hood, so we often go off road. The Park near their home is wonderful with a walking path and playground. Magoo did not spend much time on anything; but did give everything a try. I even got to ride the alligator. Ha Ha
HE's getting rather independant eh? This is good.... means he's growing up normal!
"I'll do it myself, Ma!!"
Oh, Lord...what a cutie...
How fun!
Oh funny. An independent little man! Just like Elijah. :)
It is sweet how he's showing his independent streak!!
What a great looking park and I'm sure this is the time of year when the weather is great in Las Vegas.
I can see he loves his play dates with Grandma Wright (Dwamma). He is very independent, but at least you got him to go on the rides so you could get some really cute pictures.
I'm glad he is doing so well. I miss him so much. My trips are few and far between and it usually takes a few days until he knows who I am. Hopefully retirement won't be that much longer.
Love to all of you. Grandma Sue
Isn't it funny... we take our kids to these fun places... buy them fun toys and they are interested in strollers and boxes. I'm not buying Christmas presents this year, LOL. Evan just wants boxes and tape.
By the way... "Then They Do" yep... that made me cry too.
