Matthew Counting

All the kids up in Beaver had a positive effect on Matthew. He tried new foods, interacted socially, and even had a speech breakthrough. I was counting to him with one of his books and he actually started counting back. I quickly grabbed my cel phone and shot this video.

This video brought tears to my eyes. Matthew is so capable of speaking; but as evidenced in this video it will be at his own pace and in his own time.

Being around other children is definitely a plus for any youngster. It was so worth it for him to be around those children of different ages in Beaver. Children learn so eagerly from other children. I hope his immune system will someday allow him to interact with other children his own age as well.

I think Matthew's A, B,
c's will come as easily as well. He already humms the tune.

Way to go, my sweet lil'l boy, grandma wright

Oh, I'm thrilled. It actually brought tears to my eyes because it's such a great accomplishment. We all know how smart he is and you can see by the way he was counting his fingers. Keep up the great work. He is definitely proud of himself also.

I love you all so much. I can't wait to come and visit.

Love, Grandma Sue
