One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

This is Matthew's Throne. He is getting to be such a big boy and having his own chair in the home seemed only fitting. I love the way Elmo has stuck by Matthew's side. Tickle me Elmo is one of the cutest toys I have ever seen. Elmo facinates even the adults. Matthew is enjoying some of his Christmas presents early because his immediate family is compulsive. hee hee Love you sweet baby!!!! grandma w
After reading my Mom's comments above...I ask you, what's wrong with receiving a few Christmas presents early (albeit it was October)? The TMX Elmo was a hit with Matthew and his parents!! No worries, I'll have more packages under the tree for my sweet Magoo. :)
Kim and Mom...
SOOO FUNNY! They can never wait until Christmas!!

His own rocking chair is very important and I'm sure he will love it. I still have the little rocker at home. It's currently being occupied by a very cute bear, but I would love it more if it was Matthew sitting on it. Enjoy every day, darling baby.
I love you. Grandma Sue
