One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

The football day was not over until the "Sweet Little Boy" gave the "big smile". These are the pictures, in time, that are going to melt our hearts and burn into our memories forever. I keep all my mental snapshots forever stored in my heart. That way "if" the mind goes, I have my memories stored in my "vault" for safe keeping. When the heart goes, there go I with all my memories.
Grandma's have their dreams too!
Love you sweet baby, grandma w
What a sweet picture. He seems to know exactly what to do. I realize that some of the pictures took a little more work than most of us know because Matthew likes to tease. Every picture is a keepsake. I miss him so.
Love, Grandma Sue
