One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

I just love how little and cute Matthew looks sitting in the car. :) What a sweetie..
Boys and their toys......
The first thing Matthew ask for when he came over the next day was to go bye bye in Papa's SSR. Matthew spent the entire afternoon outside helping papa water the veggie garden and plants. Yes, we did spend time in the swing along with Mr. Higgins.
Oh my, what a beautiful car and Matthew looks like he will be riding around with his Papa anytime he can. He looks so tall sitting on the swing. Very cute picture of Drahma and Mr. Higgins also.
I'm really looking forward to my visit next month.
Love, Grandma Sue

Well..ok, the people are cute too.
What a fun treat to ride in that fancy car!
Swings on the porch are one of my faves!
