One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

well hurry up with the Christmas pics, Terri!! What's the hold up? Could it be too much time spent "elsewhere"?
oooops! I just told on MYSELF!! I didn't change accounts!!
Fun photos! Can't wait to see the Christmas pics. :-)
Happy New Year!
Look at that, he's eating! Told ya he would! HAPPY NEW YEAR chick.
Matthew was a lot of fun this Christmas. He was really into opening his presents. After opening up the last present, he stood on one of the boxes and started singing "Happy Birthday to you!" We all started singing Happy Birthday Baby Jesus with him. He knew Christmas was a special day with all the family there and the presents. I too am anxious to see the pictures on the blog. (hint, hint)
I see that your hubby is Sargent.
That means you prob have enough money to pay the bills. What a cute son you have and I can see why everyone loves him dearly. I have a son named, Andy, and I love him dearly too, even as he is age 39 now. I know what the bible has to say about sin entering mankind thru Adam and thus, imperfection and death. But why is it that the "good" seem to have more sad episodes and die young??
Warm Regards,

What a great picture of Michael and his squad of new officers. They are a handsome and proud group. Keep up with the challenge of protecting the great people of Las Vegas from the bad guys. I am so proud of you Michael and so are all your aunts, uncles and cousins here in California.
It's also great to see our Matthew eating and trying new things. I know we all can't wait to see him joining everyone at the table at mealtime. It looks like it won't be long now.
Love to all of you from Grandma Sue
