One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

This is going to be a fun summer for our little Magoo. Already he is not afraid of the pool. What a difference a year makes. Of course having his buddy, Taylor, spending time with him made all the difference in the world. I just love these pictures. Thanks, Tanji, helping our little hero get use to the water.
Love all of the pics-it's good to see some new ones!! I agree-someday very soon Matthew will realize how good food is!!

What cute pictures and what a fun little kiddie pool. Matthew is getting so big and is such a cutie. I'm sad we didn't get to see you guys before we moved. I'm sure we'll be back to visit b/c I know I will be missing the nice weather! Please keep in touch!
What a cool place! Glad he enjoyed it!
You guys have too much fun~~~get back to work! LOL :)
HOW FUN! I think Ben is getting to the age where he would love a kiddie pool. But, I think that's more up his alley with other kids and splasing and water wings. Not just him in the backyard with a soggy pool. Magoo is so adorable!
Hi guys,
Wow! Your cabin looks so beautiful. What a special time, even the pile of shoes is so memorable (I clicked on the pictures of your cabin) It's just breath-taking!
