One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

I love the video. What a great idea. I could hear Matthew and Terri both. That is so fun. He looks so cute in his little hooded jacket, but he also looks like he is getting older too quickly. I can't believe how he's grown.
I love you Matthew and miss you. I hope to see you very soon.

hehehe bless him...
And was that a laugh or, dare I say it... a cackle? hehe
That was so funny... I was trying to catch him playing w/ his mouth...
but then he started crawling all over me!!! The little stinker...
I'm sooo glad you had the sound up!!
Dan...
that was my "calculating cackle"!!

Matthew "loves", to put it mildly, the cell phone. On two occasions he has managed to hit the speed call button for his papa Wright. I think the other call that I stopped was going to Hong Kong.....
Matthew pushes the buttons like a pro, using both thumbs. He loves to see my cell changing colors with each push of the keys. I'm not sure a deactivated cell phone would please him.
In this picture Matthew clearly looks like his dad. I see Michael through and through. I am sure as he gets old the resemblence will get stronger and stronger. With two wonderful parents, this child cannot go wrong in life. Love you my little "Rocky", grandma w
