One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Matthew really enjoys the time he spends with his dad. Here he is attempting to con his daddy in putting him on the couch. Matthew loves to toss that blue toy over the back of the couch. He delights in tossing anything he can get his hands on, actually. As he tosses the object he flutters his eyelids as if preparing for the "crash". He is hard to resist......... Ha ha
Love my sweet baby, grandma w
I can't believe how much he has grown, just since August. I am missing so much. He is a little boy now and not the little baby in the picture below. He's just double the fun Daddy and I know you can keep up with that.
I love you both so much.
