One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Matthew "knows" what a softie his daddy is when it comes to him. Matthew also has learned that a tug on the trousers will bring him hugs and kisses once he is picked up. How could "anyone" resist this face. Certainly not me. Love you sweet baby, grandma w
I'm thinking the same thing. How could anyone resist that darling face. I can just see Michael picking his little boy up and giving him hugs and kisses. I love the closeness between father and son and can always see his happiness around Mommy & Daddy. God is always watching over our precious little boy and will continue to do so. Please give him hugs for me and I'm hoping to see him soon.
Love, Grandma Sue
