By the end of the day Matthew�s fever had subsided. He�s had a new PIC line installed from which to draw blood, infuse lipids, and administer antibiotics. He continues to tolerate his feedings well and has been bumped up to 60ml over 90 minutes.

The red spot/sore on his cheek is from someone taking tape off his face w/o using the adhesive remover...poor baby. Not sure why they didn't use it...
Shame on the nurse for doing this to Matthew's sweet little face. It is so upsetting. The poor little guy has endured so much pain that could not have been avoided in order to save his life. To think that some nurse would so thoughtlessly and carelessly rip tape off of this precious face just infuriates me!! UGH!!!
