One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Matthew is just so adorable!!!!!
He loves to pal around with mom and dad. He proved himself quite the camper this weekend by filling his day with activity even though it was pouring down rain outside.
Matthew loves the outdoors, like his parents, but adapts to whatever whenever God decides to do in life.
Keep that precious smile, lil'l camper because it brightens your grandma's heart and life. Love you sweet baby, grandma w
He is getting to be such a big boy and just turned 17 months old. What a wonderful gift he is. That adorable face just lights up my life. He's with Mommy & Daddy having fun and seeing new things and learning new things. God Bless the King Family.
Love Grandma Sue
He's looking great! Thanks for the updates.
