Matthew had an appointment with his cardiologist Dr. Mayman today. He wasn't too happy when he had his EKG but relaxed later on. Matthew's heart pressures are still elevated but they haven't increased since his last visit. Hopefully his pressures will remain the same for another couple weeks until his next surgery.

Sweet Baby Matthew and Family.

I am new to this. I just thought I sent a comment and I guess it was deleted so I'll try again. Your cousin Stacy a teacher at our school sent me your blog. My name is Shari and our son Michael also had his heart surgery with Dr. Hanley aka "Magic Hands". He and his team are truly the best in the world for our heart children. I truly feel Michael wouldn't be here today with all of the complications he had if it wasn't for he and his team. They perform Miracles everyday in our children. We have been on this emotional rollercoaster ride of life since Michael was born and it proves you to be stronger than you ever thought you could be! On another note there will also be a baby traveling from Ohio to LPCH to have his surgery on March 15th as you all may meet. I belong to an online support group called pdheart you can check it out at tchin.org as this is where I learned this. I just wanted to say Hi and let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you as a family and especially baby Matthew. I will continue to check his blog daily so I can see his sweet lil face. Feel free to email me anytime if you like.

Take care, Steve, Shari, Brandon, 11, Michael, 7, Tetralogy of Fallot Repaired at 3 mo. old, pacemaker implant at 3.5 mo. old currently keeping an eye on pulmonary stenosis and Matthew, 3
