One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

It looks like Matthew is trying to get that ball rolled down before Ali makes her mad dash over there. You can see her running. You really did get some cute pictures. It's so wonderful to see Matthew playing with other kids and just enjoying life. It's the way it should be.
All my love. Grandma Sue
Matthew is use to being the "do-er" and not the "share-er" during playtime. Looks like there will be some more hair pulling if Matthew insists on taking over all the toys. Babies have their own way of dealing with their differences. They certainly don't need the UN to muck up a truce or tready. Of course, there is always mom and dad. LOL Love you sweet baby! grandma w
