One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Hi! how are you? I'm fine... This blog is very interesting, and i think you are very clever... You can visit my blog paolo1989alba.blogspot.com
excuse me for my english, but I'm italian...
Ouch! Hey, cut it out. I thought we were playing and having fun. Ali is looking around to see what the adults are hurrying over for. Pretty soon, Matthew will just run the other way. Can't you just see them running after each other all over the house. Fun times ahead.
Love, Grandma Sue
Ali says, "but I was just trying to "spike" his hair". Matthew is thinking "flight or fight". Ha Ha. Matthew is a lover, so it looks like he is going to boogy right along.
Why is it only a few hairs pulled hurts more than a handful. Little girls are so wise. It is born in them.
Hey, these kids are doing pretty darn good for both being an "only child". We all need to brush up on our social skill from time to time. One day I know you two will be best of friends.
Love you sweet babies! grandma w
