This is for the newcomers to Matthew's blog.
A brief story of Matthew's life with some pretty sweet pictures of him.

One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

My goodness...What a story! And such a strong little man.
I am so happy that he is doing so well...A miracle baby is right!
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful story. I hope to hear more good stories like this from beautiful Matthew and his gorgeous parents!!!
I have read this story before, but I still love it. I hope you get the opportunity to put your story out there for the nation to see!
I've enjoyed reading all the sites you have on your email footer. He's such a beautiful miracle baby! You are all an inspiration!
No matter how many times I read this story, my eyes fill with tears of joy and relief that we have Matthew today.
Matthew's mellow disposition is a sub-miracle after all his pain and suffering. It's hard to believe this is the same little guy helping daddy install things and taking control of the TV/Video entertainment via remote and equipment wise.
There is never a day that goes by that both his grandmothers don't "Thank Almighty God" for the Miracle of Matthew. He is an unbelievable "joy" in our hearts.
Love you my sweet little 20 month old "light of my life". grandma wright
Terri, what a miracle baby! I'm glad he's doing well.
Thanks for visiting my blog, by the way!
OH Terri...wow. WOW. What a champ! WHAT A CHAMPION!!! HOORAY! HOORAY FOR HIS FIERCE SPIRIT!!!
Matthew rocks. That whole lot of hero, wrapped up in that little boy...
It's humbling, to say the least.
And Bravo to you and Michael for your own fierce spirits!
His story is amazing Terri. I'm so glad that he's doing better. What a great little boy!
