One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

How did you capture Matthew's full attention, or was he so facinated by the gym gear that you had to pull him away from it? Ha ha. I know how intense Matthew is when encountering new devices. He reminds me of another "curious little boy" I once knew.
Quixa's supervision was very helpful and she wanted to make sure no fingers got pinched. I hope Matthew grows up and has those "he man" muscles that daddy was just showing us. Hee Hee.
Well you put me to shame, guys. I better log off and go do my exercises so I can keep up with my little hero. (like that will ever happen ha ha). Love you my little muscle man, grandma wright
Is that your husband? Handsome man!!! Jeez Between the two of you, you couldn't help but have a gorgeous baby...You are both beautiful!!!
Aww... thanks "wonder mom" ~
that was so nice of you to say!
Could you please come to my house and encourage me to use the elliptical that has been gathering dust for almost a month! Does Matthew give personal training sessions? I am in need of help...and he seems like the only man for the job! :)
Well, first it was your coffee cup and now it's your workout equipment. I don't know who is more interested - Matthew or Quixa. What a great picture. Quixa is like another little kid and so wonderful with Matthew.
I love the way you do the pictures with the circles and different views. Very clever their Dad.
Just keep them coming. I love you guys. Mom (Grandma Sue)
Denise...
that was so sweet of you...
thank you!
What a stud!
(Agreed that you two are a gorgeous couple. Matthew lucked out!)
