One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

I meant to add,
this is a crib to college bed.
There are 52 slats.
WOW! I am impressed! Did Mike have a pattern for the crib? Did he buy any parts pre-made like the slats? The room is awesome too! I am sooooo gonna hire him when we build my craftroom! LOL!
I am pretty sure he got the plans from "The New Yankee Workshop".
This is one cheerful & beautiful nursery. No wonder Matthew is such a happy, good natured little guy.
This picture is terrific but does not do true justice to the bed. The wood grain is awesome and the color matches all the other woodwork.
Fantastic Job!, dad. Terri and Mike make a wonderful team and baby makes "three". Love you my King Trio, grandma wright
My gosh! What a man! He could launch a new career if he ever wants to! That is flat out gorgeous! Wow, wow, wow!
That is just beautiful! I love the design! He did such a wonderful job on the whole nursery!
