One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

At first I thought they were real keys and wondered how many times he set off the car alarm. lol!
That's nice of Uncle Keith and Auntie Gabrielle to keep some toys at their house for him. One of my sisters started keeping an oxygen tank in her closet for Jessica after we had an incident where we drove clear accross town (40 min) to her house and then realized that we were out of oxygen and my spare tank in the car malfunctioned. :-/
Oh, my! He is so cute! I could suck his face off.
What an adorable picture. Look at those rosey checks. He is dressed so cute. I know I'm going on and on, but this really is one of the cutest pictures.
He certainly gets a lot of attention and looks like he is such a good boy and definitely happy.
I miss him so much.
Love, Grandma Sue
Uncle Keith and Auntie Gabrielle's place is second home to our little hero. Not only does Matthew have the little "sweetest face" he also has the "sweetest disposition".
I was surprised to see him sitting outside the basket. He likes to climb into and onto everything these days. Actually, I am surprised to see him sitting..... ha ha Love you beautiful little Matthew.... grandma wright
His cheeks look so "rosey." I hope Auntie Gaby isn't putting lipstick in the toy basket.
