One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

That is too cute of a pictire...You need to blow it up and frame it...
I agree with Janet, these are my favorite kind of pictures!
What a good looking family you have! :)
I love it! Michael has always done this with our babies, and it cracks me up every time! But I've never thought to take a picture! I need to get clickin'!
Matthew takes his daily chores very seriously as observed in this picture. Matthew certainly is his daddy's "mini-me". You should see him function with a TV remote. Matthew can surf the channels right up there with the best of them when he gets his hands on a remote. (only by chance, I can assure you.)
I was on the phone with mommy when this 2-headed daddy walked into the room. It brought rounds of laughter. If only being pregnant was "this easy" Ha Ha Love you both, grandma w
Even cuter!
Hey "mini-Michael" you look pretty cute tucked under Daddy's coat. I know he never wants you too far away, so this works for him. I love the fact that you are so close and are having such wonderful times together.
I love you. Mom (Grandma Sue)
