One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Oh.. note the beautiful kitchen cabinets and drawers ...
Mike built those too...
but all of the woodworking was PRE MATTHEW, of course!
"Hey, dad, my socks just fell off"!!!!!
Daddy surely knows his boy. At least, dad, he kept them both together. Have you ever spent hours yet trying to find the "other" one. It's coming with this little guy. tee hee
Here is anothr challenge for our litte toddler. He likes to pull his socks off and then attempt to place them back on. He has the right idea; but doesn't follow thru with the pull on part.
I have never seen suspenders for socks that go over the shoulders, have you????
I see Quixa's paws in this picture. Knowing Matthew he will try to put his socks on her first. (that is if he can catch her) I love watching you grow and learn, my sweet little fella. grandma wright
My gosh! Now you're just braggin! ;-) He did the cabinets, too!?! No man should hog all the talent! If I left any of these projects up to my husband, the entire house would be made of metal. I'm jealous. He doesn't do wood.
Precious boy--showing off his piggies!
