One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Oh this picture is darling. When we got back to my sister's (Auntie Donella) house after the shower, we said quick goodbyes because she wanted to get in the house and check the BLOG. Boy will she be happy to see the cute pictures.
Once again, the care Matthew receives at home with his Mommy & Daddy is exactly what he needs. We all love his adorable smile.
I love you so much. Grandma Sue
Oh now this is much better. Matthew looked so much better today when I stopped by for a visit. He smiled and smiled while Terri and Mike sang "Little Bunny Foo Foo."
