One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

She is wondering what new toy Daddy picked out this time. "Let's see, is it a toy for me or is this one that Daddy likes."
Johnny is a wonderful father too. And, don't forget Mommy Cheryl. She is pretty special also.
Love, Grandma Sue
Hey, We are just happy to have Mikey, Terri, and Matthew stay with us. I always miss Mikey and Terri after every visit, and now with Matthew in the mix it's even harder to see them go. We love having them over, and they are always welcome as they are an extended part of our family. We love you King Trio, and wish you the best this week!
