A night at the Magical Forest

One boy's long road to recovery. Matthew was born two months premature with a rare fourfold heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCA's, and Ventricular Septal Defect. He's had two open heart surgeries and will need additional heart surgeries in the future. To appreciate the absolute miracle of this "3 plus million dollar boy", you'd need to look into the "Archives" beginning after his first 9 hr open heart surgery at Stanford, August 2005.

Oh, he looks so happy!! I can't wipe the smile off my face right now. What is it about a child's smile that makes the world want to smile too? Life is very, very good.
LOL, can you see the Lysol antibacterial wipes in my hand...
they helped to contribute to my almost falling off the dang ride..
LOL
It is so nice to see Matthew having so much fun. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
Love,
The Domanicos
Isn't it heart warming to see the happiness and enthusiasm experienced by this child. I immediately caught a glimpse of the smile going up the stairs to the slide down. The slide is the first thing he heads to when at the park.
Matthew is now old enough to enjoy and appreciate all the wonderful child activities at the Magic Forest. How sweet of his school teacher to go along with you and see just another side of Matthew.
Papa and I are so happy Matthew enjoys his Christmas present. Merry Christmas, King Trio, and may you have many many more.
Merry Christmas!!
Oh my gosh, I just gasped when I saw the Carousel picture. I have loved Carousel horses forever and remember many happy rides. The joy on his face and the laughter warms my heart this Christmas. I only wish I was there to see it in person. What a wonderful park that is.
Well Grandma & Papa Wright found another wonderful gift. I have never seen such a darling rocking horse. Matthew looks very happy on that also.
Thank you for all the wonderful pictures. The one on the Carousel is now my screen background.
Merry Christman and love to all of you. Grandma Sue
Oh.My.Goodness!!
What miracles God does perform!!
At the beginning of my Matthew journey three years ago, I never dreamed we would all see him at this stage of life!!
God Bless Matthew, mommy and daddy, and the "nanas" who have loved and supported the King family!
The look on his little face is just precious. He's so totally happy! I'm glad he had such a fun time. And look at that awesome rocking horse...Elijah would love that!
xoxo
